Record & Publish Your Church Sermons
The greatest asset in todays technology for MP3 Sound Stream is there are no media players, such as RealPlayer or Windows Media Player, that need to be installed on your computer to listen to audio files. The examples on this page demonstrate the quality of MP3 Sound Stream using LAME compression. MP3 Sound Stream is an extremely easy program for preparing mp3 audio files for publishing your church sermons on the internet. We have prepared an example, a short (condensed version) sermon by D. Jeff Gage:
Pastor D. Jeff Gage (Approx. length 2 min.)
What is streaming audio? Streaming audio is a method of delivering audio, in real-time over the Internet with no download wait and no file to take up space on your hard disk. Effectively what happens is as soon as you request a streaming audio file, such as your church sermon, - usually by clicking on a button - the first 2 or 3 seconds of the file is downloaded to your computer and begins to play automatically. MP3 Sound Stream makes this process very easy to prepare, upload, and publish your church sermon files.
MP3 Sound Stream can be used in many other applications:
Musicians
Church Sermons
Create Products
Personal Websites
Ezines
Training
Marketing
So exactly what is MP3 Sound Stream? MP3 Sound Stream 1.25 (mp3ss) is a software package that creates high quality 56K streaming audio form MP3 or WAV files. It uses industry standard LAME compression to produce very high quality output. The program uses flash 4 technology, which is estimated to be on 98% of computers. It will reduce a standard MP3 file by over 50% with almost no loss of quality. You may listen to the quality of Pastor Gage's sermon using MP3 Sound Stream by clicking above.
Recording and Uploading MP3 Streaming Audio
Recording Sermons
Recording your sermon can be accomplished in several ways. The use of a microphone, or wireless mic, is the most standard means for recording your sermon, through an audio sound mixer, into a cassette player. If your church is so fortunate as to have a computer connected to the pastor's microphone, then the sermon may be recorded directly into the computer. Recording your sermon directly into your computer will eliminate much of the hissing sound picked up in a cassette recorder. MP3 Sound Stream allows up to 4 1/2 hours of recording for each sermon, or any recording session.
Create and Edit Audio
When you have completed the recording session of your sermon onto a cassette recorder (or directly into a computer), you will need an audio editing program to edit your sermon. There are several good audio editing programs available to edit your sermons.
* You may also check eBay.com for other audio editing programs.
After purchasing a good audio editing program, you can now load your sermon into your editing program. A simplified process for editing your sermon is to 'cut' excess from the front of your file and from the end of the file. You should add 3 seconds of silence (empty) space at the end of the file. Locate Noise/Hiss reduction in your audio editing program, and reduce the hiss level. A standard hiss reduction should work fine. Then you will need to amplify your audio/voice sermon, but be careful not to get the line indicator in the red zone. Over amplification will result in a noisy, muffled, and loud recording. Give your sermon a filename and save in a Windows PCM (*.wav) format.
Now, MP3 Sound Stream!
MP3 Sound Stream is the greatest phase (and the easiest!) for compressing your sermon .wav file into the mp3 streaming audio format. MP3 Sound Stream is very easy to use, and after you familiarize yourself with these simple MP3 Sound Stream features, the next time will take only a few minutes.
Open your MP3 Sound Stream program. Click Browse to locate your sermon .wav file.  Next, click the Options tab. Here you can select output options, instructions, and Controller options. MP3 Sound Stream offers a very large selection of controllers from which you can choose. The next output file number is also indicated, and increases by 1 each time you open a new file for your next sermon. When the process is completed, MP3 Sound Stream will have made three (3) complete files. The HTML file contains all the information you will need (simply copy & paste the code) and enter into your church web-page. The other two (2) files are for uploading your mp3 audio. These files are always named mp3ss5d.swf and mp3ss5s.swf. Your web-page will only contain the named mp3ss5d.swf file in two places in the coding, but both the 'd' and 's' files must be FTP'd (uploaded) to your server. (The number 5 in this filename indicates the number you assigned to this file. i.e., the next filename will be mp3ss6d.swf and mp3ss6s.swf). This completes your session in MP3 Sound Stream and now your complete audio sermon is ready for upload.
To serve your streamed audio file (to make it available to others on the internet), be sure your host/server supports streamed audio files. Again, for each audio sermon, you are required to send both 'd' and 's' files to your server via FTP. If you have not yet acquired an FTP program, you may find some good information at WS_FTP Professional 2006.
MP3 Sound Stream is by far the easiest, and most economical audio program you can find anywhere! Aside from publishing your church sermons, MP3 Sound Stream can be used for many other applications of interest as well. Personally, I am the webmaster for our church, and as a Christian, I am devoted to the ministry of recording and preparing our preachers, D. Jeff Gage, sermon each Sunday. I use Cool Edit, an audio editing program, and MP3 Sound Stream. I have found there is no better way! I wish each of you all the success in providing great audio for all the Christians listening to your sermons online.
Use MP3 Sound Stream thousands of times for only $39.95 ....
